To complete this emphasis, you take the following 18 units, with a grade of C or better in each course:
BME 310 (3 units)
one of BME 430, 440, 450, and 531 (3 units)
ENG 308 or 504 (3 units)
BME 480 or ENG 538 (3 units)
BME 481 (3 units)
BME 420 or 535 (3 units)
In addition, you must demonstrate proficiency in a second language by one of the following means:
completing 6 units in a single second language
or demonstrating proficiency in an American Indian language as verified in writing by an official designated by the appropriate tribe
or passing the Arizona Classroom Spanish Proficiency Exam
