For this 36-unit plan, take:
BME 530, 538, 631, 634, 637, and 698 (18 units)
3 units from ANT 569, EDR 610 and 611, EPS 525, and SOC 654
3 units from EPS 605, 610, 611, and 596
3 units from EDF 500, 670, 671, 672, 673, and 677 and ESE 520
9 units chosen from ANT 614; BME 420, 430, 437, 440, 450, 460, 481, 531, 532, 533, 534, 535, 536, 537, 539, 570, and 608; ENG 504, 518, and 558; ESE 651; ETC 559; HUM 540; and NAV 502
For this plan, you need not demonstrate proficiency in a second language, but you must have had some second-language learning experience. However, if you decide to earn either the bilingual endorsement or the ESL endorsement, you do need to fulfill the language proficiency and teacher certification requirements established by the Arizona Department of Education.
