We offer this plan, which is specifically designed for certified teachers desiring further training in mathematics education, under the extended coursework plan only.
For this 36-unit plan, you must:
complete MAT 500, MAT 507, and MAT 602 (9 units)
complete 18 units of mathematics-education courses from MAT 501, 502, 504, 505, 506, 508, and 601
complete one course each chosen from:
ECI 666, 675, or 696 (3 units)
EPS 591, 605, or 611 (3 units)
EDF 670, 671, 672, or MAT 501 (3 units)
perform satisfactorily on a final oral exam conducted by your advisory committee
