Teaching and learning strategies in the career and technical education classroom. Includes learning styles, cooperative learning, and total quality management.
CTE 330 CONTEMPORARY TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION PROGRAMS (3)
Experimental and innovative curriculum, program, methodology, and facility approaches used in career and technical education classrooms.
CTE 340W RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IN CAREER AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION (3)
Examines principles and concepts of writing and research in career and technical education. This course fulfills NAU's junior-level writing requirement. Prerequisite: CTE 155. JWRT
CTE 355 COMPUTER APPLICATIONS FOR CTE TEACHERS (3)
Appropriate classroom use of the computer in career and technical education. Must have keyboarding skills with a minimum of 20WPM.

Methods of gathering and analyzing information necessary for establishing responsive and comprehensive career and technical education programs.
CTE 465 METHODS OF CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION (3)
Examines philosophy and teaching methods, preparation and use of instructional material, and evaluation in agriculture education, business education, family and consumer education, health careers education, industrial technological education, and marketing education.
CTE 486 MULTIMEDIA DEVELOPMENT (3)
Examines advanced principles and concepts of computer applications related to multimedia development and teaching. Emphasizes using a computer to design, develop, test, and analyze student-created learning and presentation applications. Prerequisite: CTE 355
CTE 495C CAPSTONE IN CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION (3)

Examines recent trends and investigations in a selected area of a particular major field of study. No repeat limit.
