Reviews applicable tax code. Applies investment theory to model portfolios. Examines options and futures contracts in context of hedging and speculation. Determines how payoff streams are altered by combining securities. Coconvenes with FIN 431. Prerequisite: Admission to Business Administration (MBA) and FIN 331

Intensive application of theory and techniques for financial management of the resources of the firm. Applies tools and techniques through case analysis to problem definition and solution in diverse environments. Coconvenes with FIN 451. FIN 580 INTERNATIONAL FINANCE (3)
Develops financial theory and intensive application of techniques in the framework of multinational corporations. Emphasizes currency exchange and translation problems as well as evaluation of international cash flows. Coconvenes with FIN 480. Prerequisite: Admission to Business Administration (MBA)
