Public Management Certificate

This web-delivered program is professionally oriented, emphasizing management skills required by people who work or plan to work in public administration.  

For this certificate, you complete the following 12 hours:  

• POS 541 or 543 (3 hours)

• (with adviser approval, POS 641 or 643 may be substituted)  

• POS 642 or 644 (3 hours)  

• POS 581, 608, or 697 (3 hours)  

• 3 hours from specialty area (With your advisor’s approval, you may choose any 500- or 600-level POS course not used to meet other certificate requirements.)

Please note that no course may be transferred into this program from another university.
