ADV 310 ADVERTISING MEDIA SELECTION (3)
Planning, analyzing, and selecting media to advertise goods and services; determining strategies for media selection. Letter grade only. Prerequisite: ADV 307 and (MAT 110 or higher)
ADV 311W CREATIVE ADVERTISING STRATEGIES (3)
Developing and implementing advertising strategies as they relate to executing a marketing plan. This course fulfills NAU's junior-level writing requirement. Letter grade only. Prerequisite: ADV 307 and COM 200 with grades greater than or equal to C JWRT

ADV 411C ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS (3)
Designing complete advertising campaigns with an emphasis on consumer research, market planning, creative production techniques, media selection, and budgeting. Letter grade only. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 units. Prerequisite: ADV 311W or ADV 311 with grade greater than or equal to C CAP
ADV 466 LEGISLATIVE INTERNSHIP (1-12)
Supervised internship in the Arizona Legislature during spring semester. Students are selected on a competitive basis, and you must apply during the fall semester. (To be eligible, you must be a candidate for a bachelor's degree and have completed all lower-division requirements and attained senior status at the end of the fall semester preceding the internship.) Registration is handled by the associate provost for academic administration after the legislature has made its final selection. Pass-fail only. May be repeated for a maximum of 12 units; not the same subject. Department consent required.
ADV 485 UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH (1-6)
