M.A. Anthropology: Applied Sociocultural Anthropology Emphasis

For this 42-unit program, which involves completing an internship with an internship paper that you successfully defend, you take:  

• 6 units of theory: ANT 600 and 603  

• 6 units of methods: ANT 568 and 569  

• one topics course approved by your adviser (3 units)  

• ANT 639 (3 units)  

• 12 units of internship experience:

ANT 607, 608 (6 hrs.), and 609  

• 12 units of related coursework approved by your adviser, of which at least 6 units must be outside anthropology
