Records Hold

If you have an outstanding financial obligation to NAU, have not satisfied a condition of admission, or have an administrative or probationary hold, NAU places an indicator on your records. To see if you have any holds on your record, go to LOUIE (https://www.nau.edu/louie) and check under Personal Portfolio.

While this indicator, or records hold, is in place, we may suspend all of your course enrollment and graduation privileges and refuse to issue official transcripts for you.

It is your responsibility to take care of the condition causing the hold, which remains on your record until it is removed by the initiating office. You must make contact with the office that placed the hold on your record to have it released. Holds can be initiated by a variety of university offices, including Undergraduate Admissions, Academic Advising Services, the Office of the Bursar, Student Financial Aid, Fronske Health Center, the Graduate College, the Office of International Recruitment and Admissions, the Registrar’s Office, and Student Life.
