M.A. English: Literature

This 36-unit plan fosters your understanding of concepts, periods, authors, and issues fundamental to the advanced study of literature in English.

 

To ensure this objective, you must complete 21 units of graduate literature courses selected from the following three categories:

(Please note that no more than 6 units of ENG 699 may be applied to your degree. If you are interested in writing a thesis, you should consult with your advisor early in your plan. Be aware that you may end up taking more than the 6 units of thesis credit you can count toward your degree because you must enroll for ENG 699 each term while you are working on your thesis.)
