If you are a PreK-12 teacher or a technology coordinator who wants to enhance your technology skills, you may be interested in NAU’s certificate plan in educational technology.
Candidates in this program of study are required to demonstrate content, pedagogical, and professional knowledge and skills to be eligible to receive the Graduate Certificated in Educational Technology. Content, pedagogical, and professional knowledge or skills are demonstrated through candidate performance on key assessments embedded in all courses in this program of study.
To complete this plan, take the following 15 units:
Prerequisites for ETC courses:
ETC 547 and ETC 567 (6 units)
Select one (note: these courses are designed to have similar instructional activities although they cover different content - 3 units)
one of ETC 548, 557, 558 and 559 (3 units)
6 units from: ETC 647, 657, 666, and 677
