Graduate Information

You may pursue the following graduate academic plan through the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences:

This academic plan is designed to help you become a highly qualified entry-level professional providing speech, language, and audiology services. We seek to foster your interest in advancing the knowledge and practice in human communication and its disorders; in becoming a leader in the field; and in enabling all individuals to communicate, read, write, think, and learn in order to succeed in a changing world.

Our program is committed to enriching learning, research, teaching, and the professional service environment by embracing the cultural and linguistic diversity of our region and nation.

In addition to the coursework required for this plan, your academic experience is enhanced through complementary clinical experiences in such areas as literacy clinics, group therapies, training in voice assessment instrumentation, and public school practice.

Our program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
