We designed these academic plans to help you find significance and meaning in living within a complex multiracial and multicultural nation.
These plans will help you develop awareness of the social construction of race complex economic, political, and social phenomena; understand the historical factors affecting ethnic stratification in the United States; explore the intersection of race, class, and gender; develop an appreciation for cultural diversity; develop critical thinking from multidisciplinary and comparative theoretical perspectives; enhance your oral and written expression of critical ideas; and prepare you as a productive citizen in a diverse global setting.
