If you are a Pre-K–12 teacher or a technology coordinator who wants to enhance your technology skills, you may be interested in Northern Arizona University’s certificate plan in Educational Technology.
To be eligible to receive the Graduate Certificate in Educational Technology, candidates in this program are required to demonstrate content, pedagogical, and professional knowledge and skills. These specific skills and knowledge are demonstrated through candidate performance on key assessments embedded in all courses.
To complete this plan, take the following 15 units:
Pre-requisites for ETC certificate courses:
ETC 547 and ETC 567 (6 units)
Specialized ETC course work:
one course from: ETC 548, 557, 558, 559 (3 units)
two courses from: ETC 647, 657, 666, 677 (6 units)
Note: Although these courses cover different content, they are designed to stimulate the use of appropriate and/or creative instructional activities.
