Students must also choose and complete hours from one of the following three emphases:

The additional courses required for this emphasis are upper-division and will need to be completed at NAU.
 
B.A. in Electronic Media
Students must take the aforementioned coursework for both the B.A. and the B.S. degree. However, the student wishing to pursue the B.A. degree with this emphasis must demonstrate (through coursework or a placement examination) a two-year, college-level proficiency in a modern language other than English. If students take language courses to meet this requirement, those hours may be counted toward the liberal studies requirement and/or general electives.
