Diversity Course Submission Process

(NAU Advisors - for non-articulated transferred courses)


To expand opportunities for students to complete courses for the diversity requirement, prior to transfer, NAU has implemented a process for NAU Advisors to submit eligible courses for consideration for diversity area designations.

The process is as follows:  Send electronic copies of course information (prefix, number, title, units and  course description) along with a course syllabus to Dr. Ronald Pitt who will forward the information to the Diversity Subcommittee, for determination of acceptance.  After committee review, Dr. Pitt will forward their response back to the originating advisor.

Before submitting any courses, be sure to refer to the definitions for Global Diversity and US Ethnic Diversity.
