Can
you give me general information about transferring credit to NAU? Can you give me general information about transferring credit to NAU? For in-state and out-of-state schools, NAU accepts almost all credits in transfer if:
NAU will accept an unlimited number of hours from a 4-year institution, but is limited to accepting 64 credits from 2-year institutions. Can you give me more information about how my credits will transfer to NAU? Once you have been admitted, send official transcripts from all institutions you have attended to the Undergraduate Admissions, PO BOX 4084, Flagstaff, AZ 86011. This office will evaluate them to determine which of those hours will apply to Liberal Studies, and the rest of the hours are sent on to your advisor. He/she will determine if they will be used for major credit, minor credit or electives. If you are an Arizona community college student, or an NAU student taking classes at an Arizona community college, there is more information available through the Arizona Course Applicability System (AzCAS). Here you will find the Course Equivalency Guide (CEG), which will show you the university equivalents for community college courses. Please work with your advisor to make the best choices. See this section of the FAQ for more information. I am an international student and need information about transferring to NAU. For more information on international student transfer, please visit the website of the NAU Center for International Education Office I have been admitted, and have sent NAU my transcripts. When will my credits be evaluated? Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing. To see if your transfer credit has been posted on your transcripts, please check LOUIE, the online student information and registration system. To set up your LOUIE account, click the "Account Management" link on the LOUIE homepage. If you need help with your LOUIE account, follow the "Help" links. I have a question about the Transfer Credit Evaluation I received. Contact Undergraduate Admissions at (928)523-5511 or toll free (888)667-3628. If you are an Arizona community college student, or an NAU student taking classes at an Arizona community college, there is more information available through the Arizona Course Applicability System (AzCAS). To access the CEG, go to the AzCAS homepage at http://az.transfer.org/cas/ and click the "Course Equivalency Guide (CEG)" link on the left-hand side of the page. You will be taken to the CEG homepage. Choose the appropriate community college, then choose a prefix (discipline) from the list that will be given to you. Scroll through the list of courses to view the university equivalencies for your course(s). The CEG will give you information about how a course will transfer into NAU. The CEG will not always give you the best information about how your transfer courses will apply to major(s) or minor(s). Transfer Guides are tools that are designed to give you more information about how your transfer coursework will apply to your major. Go to the Transfer Guide homepage for more information. Please be aware that a completed, certified Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) from an Arizona community college will transfer and satisfy the NAU Liberal Studies. For more information about AGEC and transfer into Liberal Studies at NAU, see the AGEC page, or visit the NAU Gateway Student Success Center's student information webpage. For information on how transfer coursework will apply to a minor, please contact your NAU minor advisor. If you are not yet attending NAU, you may find more information about the minors NAU offers in the Undergraduate Catalog. I need help understanding the Course Equivalency Guide (CEG) or the Transfer Guides.
