¬ Brief description of organization: Flagstaff Cultural Partners manages the Coconino Center for the Arts and serves as the arts council for Flagstaff, Arizona.

¬ Title of AmeriCorps service assignment: Marketing Coordinator

 AmeriCorps Service Assignment Description:

1. Engages and promotes art appreciation directly to visitors at the Coconino Center for the Arts and in the community.  Visitors to the gallery are educated about each exhibit and its importance. This is particularly essential when local issues are presented through art.
2. Assists with the implementation of events at the Center; serving and directing the public during events.
3. Directly supports and works with both local and visiting artists for concerts, art exhibitions, and other events.
4. Handles media interviews, requests for information, and marketing and promotion

AmeriCorps Member Qualifications 

1. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and customer service skills.
2. Highly motivated individual who is willing to learn (no experience necessary for position).
3. Works well independently and takes initiative, but can also participate as an effective team member.
4. Availability during weekends and evenings for events – must have flexible schedule.
