Cadre and staff
Joe Gonzales - Human Resources Technician
Joe Gonzales has been a key member of the NAU Army ROTC cadre and staff since 1998. Prior to 1998 he was an active duty Infantry soldier (11M) before becoming an Administrative Specialist (42L). In 1998 he moved to Flagstaff and took on the duties of the Lumberjack Battalion Administrative NCO. In 2004 he retired from the US Army and worked at the US Army Cadet Command, Western Region in Fort Lewis. He returned to the Lumberjack Battalion in 2005 as the Human Resources Technician and continues to serve in that capacity.
He has an Associate's Degree in Applied Management from Central Texas College and is working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Finance with a certificate in Human Resources from NAU.
