Master Sergeant Jeff Duncan- Senior Military Science Instructor

Master Sergeant Jeff Duncan entered the Army from Phoenix, AZ on 23 Jul 1992. After completion of Infantry Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Ft. Benning, Ga, he was assigned to B Co, 2 nd BN, 16th INF at Ft. Riley Kansas (1993-94). His additional assignments include: C Co 1/5 INF at Camp Hovey Korea (1994-95), B Co 2/505 Parachute Infantry Regiment at Ft. Bragg, NC (1995-98), 3/75 Ranger Regiment (1998-2008) and Headquarters and Headquarters Company of the 75 th Ranger Regiment at Fort Benning, Ga (2008-2010) . MSG Duncan has held positions as a Rifleman, M203 Gunner, M249 SAW Gunner, Fire Team Leader, Squad Leader, Weapons Squad Leader, Assistant Operations NCO, Platoon Sergeant and Company First Sergeant. MSG Duncan has deployed multiple times to both Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom.

His military and civilian education includes: PLDC, BNCOC, ANCOC, Battle Staff Course, Ranger School, Sapper Leader Course, Airborne School, Jumpmaster School, and Pathfinder School. MSG Duncan holds an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice.

MSG Duncan’s awards and decorations include the Silver Star, Bronze Star Medal with “V” Device, Bronze Star Medal with 3 oak leaf clusters, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal with 2 oak leaf clusters, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal with 5 oak leaf clusters, Army Achievement Medal with 6 oak leaf clusters, Good Conduct Medal (5 th award), National Defense Service Medal with bronze star, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with 2 bronze stars, Iraq Campaign Medal with 4 bronze stars, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon with numeral 3, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon with numeral 3, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Army Valorous Unit Award, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, the Expert Infantryman’s Badge, Master Parachutist Wings, the Pathfinder Badge, the Ranger Tab, the Sapper Tab and German Parachutist Badge.
