Team Camp

Camp Rules & Expectations

DAILY SCHEDULE

  • Session 1 & 2 (AM & afternoon) is skill development (passing, setting, hitting...etc.)
  • Session 3 (PM): Practice/Play with your team to get ready for tournament
  • Don’t miss breakfast, it’s the most important meal of the day!
  • We eat right after the morning and afternoon sessions
  • DRINK LOTS OF WATER!!
  • Lost meal card? See counselor. If you lose your card, eat first replace ($5) card later

DORM EXPECTATIONS ( You will be billed for any damage done to your dorm room)

  • Quiet and respectful of others
  • Get your sleep - CRITICAL
  • In YOUR room by 10:30. Lights out at 11:00
  • Keep door locked - SAFETY
  • Please don’t rearrange furniture/remove window screens
  • No phones are provided in the rooms. Pay phones near message board.
  • IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WHILE IN THE DORM LET YOUR DORM QUEENS KNOW!

RULES/SAFETY

  • Report to gym for all sessions/even if you’re sick
  • Wear name tags to all sessions
  • Report to the same court for each session
  • Commuter campers must see Counselor to check out for lunch and dinner
  • Drugs, alcohol, smoking, boys in room, disruptive behavior = expulsion from camp
  • Resident campers will walk to dorms with coaches
  • Always travel in groups around campus
  • Utilize the buddy system
  • If you or your roommate do any damage to the room, EACH of your parents will receive a bill for half the cost

TRAINER

  • Present in Rolle 30 minutes before each session
  • Communicate your injuries EARLY to your coach
  • Make sure that your coach knows that you are with the trainer

COURT EXPECTATIONS

  • HAVE FUN!
  • Communicate on court
  • Hustle
  • Learn. Make an effort to attempt to perform what you are being taught. It may be difficult and awkward at first, but if you keep trying, you will improve.
  • Listen with ears/watch with eyes

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be on time
  • Communicate issues with a coach AND HAVE FUN!!!!
