SPRING 2011
COMMENCEMENT SCHEDULE

Northern Arizona University will be hosting commencement ceremonies in May 2011 at the Flagstaff campus. As you may be aware, the spring 2011 commencement season is challenged by the many on-going campus construction projects. Our regular commencement venue—the Walkup Skydome—is undergoing much needed renovations and it is unavailable.

Your commencement will be held in a high-quality temporary building structure of substantial quality and size constructed on the P62B South campus parking area. It will be similiar to the one shown in the photo below:

There will be five commencement ceremonies:

One change unique to May is the need for guest tickets. Although the temporary structure is large – about the size of a football field – it is not big enough to accommodate an unlimited number of guests. As such, each graduate is limited to six ticketed guests. You may pick up (or order by phone if you are from Extended Campuses or Yuma) your guest tickets between 8:00 a.m. April 4 and 4:00 p.m. April 30, 2011 from NAU Central Ticketing. Unclaimed tickets will be available for those graduates needing additional tickets between May 2 and May 12.

An e-mail address has been created for individuals who
may have additional questions after the details are announced. Send to graduation@nau.edu.
