Ticket Information


To All Candidates

Please read carefully!

  1. Tickets are required for guest attendance and seating at the main Commencement venue. *The sale of tickets is prohibited. Toddlers and babies who will be held, do not need tickets. Non-ticketed seating for viewing ceremonies on-screen is available at Prochnow Auditorium and Ardrey Auditorium. This seating is first come, first served.
  2. Ticket allocation is based on the candidate’s name appearing in the commencement program which is built from the approved graduation applications.
  3. Each student is guaranteed 6 guest tickets, if picked up by April 30, 2011, 4:00 p.m.  Students not taking classes at the Flagstaff campus must call by April 30, 2011, 4:00 p.m.
  4. Tickets are allocated by ceremony. You will not be able to use tickets from other ceremonies for your ceremony.

  6. Ticket distribution is as follows:
    • Students will pick up tickets from NAU Central Ticketing office, located in the University Union, beginning April 4, 2011, during normal ticketing office business hours: Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm; Saturday 10am - 4pm, closed Sunday.
    • Students will need their NAU ID to pick up tickets; ID will be swiped as tickets are picked up.
    • Students not taking classes at the Flagstaff campus will be able to call in (1-888-520-7214) for their tickets AND must have their ID number available. No one, other than the student, can call and request tickets. Tickets mailed if ordered by 4:00 p.m. on April 30, 2011. 
  7. After April 30, unclaimed tickets, by ceremony, will be made available for general distribution.

    • Beginning May 2, 2011, students can pick up 2 additional tickets/day for a maximum of 6 additional tickets for your designated ceremony only.
    • Students not taking classes at the Flagstaff campus will be able to call in (1-888-520-7214) for their tickets AND must have their ID number available. Tickets must be picked up at Will Call (on site for commencement) on May 13 and 14, 2011, a minimum of 1 hour prior to the ceremony start time. Extended Campus students will not need a NAU ID, but will need to present a legal form of identification for verification of their identity and have their ID number available.
  8. Any student who has lost their guest tickets must check in at the Will Call ticket booth a minimum of 1 hour prior to the relevant ceremony start time.  Staff will verify that tickets were originally received.  A maximum of 6 special lost tickets will be given out, and guests will be seated in the "lost ticket" designated seating area, as space is available.
