There are several places that you can go to find information for your presentation on molecular genetics.  The Cline Library offers a variety of resources that you can browse for ideas such as current periodicals, or on-line publications.

Where can I submit assignments to my TA?

Most laboratory assignments should be turned in to your TA during your regularly scheduled lab time.  However, if your TA informs you that they are willing to accept a late assignment, you may put it in their mail box in the biology mailroom (BS room 225).  You may obtain a date and time stamp from the Biology Department Office (BS room 227) if your assignment was due by a particular time.

How can I find out my current lab grade?

Calculate your grade yourself by dividing your total points earned to date by the total points possible to date.  You can also contact your TA.

Where can I get help finding peer-reviewed articles?

A web site has been designed specifically to assist you with your BIO 181 library assignments.  This site (http://www2.nau.edu/~libei-p/libres/?libres=spring06-bio181-staff ) will provide you with information on your assignments, as well as giving you information on how to use the library.  Both the Cline Library Reference Librarians and your TA may provide you with additional help as needed.

Where can I get help with my writing assignment?

There are several resources on campus which may provide you with assistance with your writing assignments.  Please note:  none of these resources will do your assignment for you, you must make a good attempt at the assignment on your own first.  In addition to your TA and your text (Writing Papers in the Biological Sciences) you may also obtain assistance from the Learning Assistance Center.  There are two LAC locations on campus, both of which provide Biology tutoring and writing assistance.

How can I reach my TA?

Your TA has regularly scheduled office hours and an email address to which you may submit questions or make an appointment.  This information is provided under the TA information link above.
