Laboratory 9:  Measuring pH, a factor that affects enzyme activity

This is your second laboratory of our module on the study of enzymes.  The focus of this laboratory will be on pH and its affect on enzyme activity.  Since biological processes occur in aqueous solution, and enzyme activity is impacted by pH, it is important to understand what pH is and the importance of buffers in a solution.  During this laboratory you will learn about pH, pH indicators, quantification of pH, and buffers.
