                                  Laboratory 3:  The Microscope and Cells

 

                                                                                      

                                                                                                     

 

This laboratory will introduce Cell Theory, and the use compound light microscopes to study cells. You will learn proper use of the microscope, and how to make a wet mount slide to study plant and animal cells. Prokaryotic cells, such as bacteria and cyanobacteria, will also be studied for comparison to eukaryotic cells.
