Commission for Native Americans
Short-term Goals:
Conduct self-assessment of Native American programs;
Institutionalize the Commission for Native Americans;
Conduct an Inventory of all the Native American Programs;
Establish benchmarks for future program assessments;
Follow-up with another tribal leader's summit; and
Professional development for Native American faculty and staff.
Long-term Goals:
Increase student success;
Increase diversity in the university student body, administration, faculty,
and staff;
Increase outreach to external communities;
Actively participate in the preparation of the overall strategic plan; and
Advocate, enhance, coordinate, educate and involve each other.
