SOC computer labs
 
Computer labs are only for the use of current SOC students
and faculty. to use the computers, you must have a
SOC lab account.
lab locations

The scanning open lab is located in room 104 of swingspace.
All non scanning homework should be done in the campus
labs.
Room 105 is often open when not being used for class
instruction.
Room 102 and 103 are only open during class instruction.
lab rules

- No eating or drinking is permitted
in the lab.
- Do not power off the workstations
- Save to your Documents folder
in your WABEZ account when done working or the "local
save" folder while working.
- To play music, you need to
be wearing headphones.
- NAU-SOC open lab is subject
to the Universitys guidelines for the acceptable
use of computing resources policy.
- Keep the lab clean.
- If you have any questions,
please ask the Lab-Aid or contact Kevin
Mackett.
- DO NOT MOVE EQUIPMENT.
*You will be expelled from the lab if you are breaking
any of these rules.
**NAU School of Communications open lab is provided
for the students, faculty, and staff of the School
of Communication. You will be asked to leave if you
cannot exhibit a valid ID.

Room 214 and 304 have their own laser printers. Room 302 shares
the laser printer in the open lab, room 316. Color printing is only
available to specific programs via your instructor.
Off Campus high quality printing is available at the
Coppy Shop in the Union, S&S printing, or Kinkos.
S&S printing gives SOC students a substantial discount.
