Interacting with WABEZ and ATLAS servers in labs

Standard lab sequence:

• Log onto system- Wabez server is connected giving access to home folder.
• Log onto Atlas using the “go” menu if access to fonts or classes folder is required. These share points will show up on the desktop.
• **IMPORTANT** copy any files to be worked on to the local save folder located on your local hard drive (on the desktop)
• Open files from local save- DO NOT open files from desktop or home folder. Anything on your desktop is actually located in your home folder in the desktop folder. This is a secure place to store files on the server.
• When ready to log out of computer, copy file to your home folder since the local save is not a secure location to store files.
