Counseling Services (CS) works to enhance the psychological growth, emotional well-being, and learning potential of Northern Arizona University students. This aim
is accomplished by providing short-term psychological counseling, mental-health and substance-abuse educational programming, and consultation.

Counseling Services HAS MOVED to the new Health & Learning Center located across from the NAU Natatorium. This new facility combines both health and learning under one roof, including health education/promotion, counseling services, recreation and medical services.

Counseling Services at NAU is accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc.
