The Center for Science Teaching and Learning coordinates NAU's secondary science teacher certification. Through program streamlining, active recruitment and careful advising, the center has tripled the number of science teachers certifying at NAU over the last four years, producing more science teachers than Arizona State University and the University of Arizona combined. The center also promotes the improvement of science instruction in K-12 settings through an extensive portfolio of school-based grants and contracts. Visit
