Have you ever thought about being a teacher?

Try out teaching for free by enrolling in "Step One: Inquiry Approaches in Teaching" (TSM 101) and recieve $125 once you successfully complete the course.

Step One Course Description

Step One invites you to explore teaching as a career at no cost. In Step One, you will teach science or math lessons in elementary classrooms to obtain first-hand experience with planning and implementing inquiry-based curriculum. Master teachers teach Step One, so you will have direct access to people who love teaching and who believe that teaching is a rewarding career choice. An elementary classroom provides future teachers with a first taste of teaching in a supportive, diverse environment.

An introduction to the theory and practice that's necessary to design and deliver excellent inquiry-based science and math instruction provides the scaffold for your early field experience. Your NAUTeach master teacher and elementary school mentor teacher will emphasize both inquiry and classroom management techniques.
