Overview
of Academic Programs Coordinated by the CSTL
NAU proudly
offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of current and
future science teachers. With two colleges and seven academic
departments involved in this effort, the Center for Science
Teaching and Learning has taken on the pivotal role of
coordinating program offerings. While the CSTL does not grant
degrees or certifications, it acts as a central source of program
information, pre-advising for content and education courses,
and participates in science teacher recruitment and student
teacher supervision. The CSTL and its staff offer science education
courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels that contribute
to the programs found across the NAU campus.
The "Academic
Programs" area of this website is designed to help the
current or future science teacher gain access to the information
that they would need to select and participate in a program
at NAU.
