Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Northern Arizona

Services: The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is part of one of the largest volunteer efforts in the nation. RSVP acts as a bridge linking seniors (55 and older) with local non-profit agencies and proprietary health care agencies in need of volunteer service. In exchange for their time, talents, and life experience, RSVP volunteers can receive benefits such as:

  • secondary insurance coverage
  • meal and mileage reimbursement
  • educational opportunities
  • recognition for their efforts

Qualifications
: Volunteers must be 55 years of age or older and have a desire to volunteer. Agencies in need of the services of senior volunteers must partner with RSVP by completing an agreement. RSVP partnered "stations" are asked to provide training for the volunteers and to make sure monthly timesheets and current volunteer information are readily available to the RSVP office.
