INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY:
•Gain experience working with an
organization that reports directly to the University President on issues and
policies relevant to women at NAU.
•Gain experience working with an organization that addresses issues relevant to
women on your campus, including: campus climate and civility; career and
professional development; diversity; equity and compensation; harassment and
sexual assault prevention; and work life issues.
•Obtain knowledge on administrative policy making, as well as, university
organizations, structure and politics.
•If you want to design an internship that will sharpen the skills you need to
develop an impressive resume, then come work for CSW.
SOME DUTIES COULD INCLUDE:
•Assist with marketing strategies
•Design marketing strategies
•Design and create publications
•Design and produce newsletters
Utilize graphic design knowledge
•Assist with web design
•Assist with grant writing process
•Assist with public relations
•Promote public awareness
•Assist with coordinating special events
•Assist with developing productive relationships with administrators, community
members, and other NAU organizations
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
•Currently not paid, only for credit.
A bonus may be offered if funds are available.
•Hours per week to be negotiated to accommodate students' schedule and
internship needs.
