COSTS

Many of the costs for travel to Havana and Holguin will be paid prior to arriving in Cuba. We are using Marazul Charters, an agency with long experience in travel to Cuba, for accommodations and flights to and within Cuba.

The travel package includes four nights lodging in the Hotel Vedado in Havana (with breakfast), Four nights lodging in the Hotel Pernik in Holguin (with breakfast and dinner), round-trip airfare Havana/Holguin, and transfers to and from airport.

Cuban visa fee $ 50.00 (US) [purchase before travel]

Health/Medical Insurance $ 2.60 a day (US) [optional]

Flights to Havana:

Costs vary according to point of departure; travel will be arranged through Marazul Charters.

Currency Restrictions:

Since November 2004, U.S. dollars are no longer accepted as legal tender in Cuba. Dollars must be exchanged for Convertible Cuban Pesos (CUCs) and a 10 percent exchange fee is charged; the exchange rate varies daily, as in other countries.
