Plan & Sub-plan Codes

  Having trouble finding the plan and subplan codes you

  need in LOUIE? Hopefully, this will help!

  To make it easier to find the appropriate codes for NAU's undergraduate

   academic plans (majors, minors, certificates) and subplans (emphases,

   foci), check out the following spreadsheets, which are organized by catalog

   year. We hope these will be a useful supplement to the alphabetical code

   listings in LOUIE.

   Even though many codes stay the same from one catalog year to another,

   some plans are eliminated each year and new ones created. By showing

   which plans are valid for what period of time, we hope to make it easier for

   you to know which codes apply to which students. (Because a student's

   plans and subplans all need to be from the same catalog year, the plan

   and subplan codes for a particular student need to be congruent with the

   student's requirement term in LOUIE.)

  In using these spreadsheets, please remember:

  Plans with subplans are highlighted in blue.  Scroll to the right for details.

  The codes are listed by academic organization (plan owners in LOUIE) To view all plans in a specific area, use the Academic Org-Descr. filter (click on the arrow next to the Academic Org-Descr header and select the Org of your choosing).

  The Program column will be useful for requesting what-if reports.

     Other than that, the last two columns in each sheet  (Program and

     Career) are primarily only of use to NAU staff who are authorized to

     change students' plan-subplan information in LOUIE.
