Susan Hansen is a Disability Resources Specialist who works directly with students to assist them in receiving accommodations. She also determines eligibility for DR services for students who have visual impairments. Susan received her B.Ed in Secondary Education with a major in Spanish and her M.S. in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling, both from the University of Arizona. Prior to joining the Disability Resources staff at NAU in 2006, Susan worked for many years as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with the State of Arizona Rehabilitation Services Administration. Additionally, she administered psychological and vocational testing through the University of Arizona and taught English as a Second Language in Colombia, South America. Susan serves on the City of Flagstaff's Disability Awareness Commission.
