
ElizaBeth Pifer is the Assistive Technology Specialist at Disability Resources. She started her career in Rehabilitation Technology service delivery 24 years ago at Georgia Tech, and worked at NAU for the AZ Technology Access Program from 1996 to 1999. Before returning to NAU in August of 2007, she worked for 10 years as the Director of Rehabilitation Technology Services for a community based independent living and assistive technology resource center on the Navajo Nation. ElizaBeth is a RESNA certified Assistive Technology Practitioner and a U.S. Rehabilitation Certified Environmental Access Consultant. She received her undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and received her Masters in Accessibility and Inclusive Design. In her free time she enjoys creating art, gardening, experimenting with solar cooking, and being walked by her two Mastiffs.
