Portfolio Directory access
- Internet Explorer
- click on the file and select save
- It should default to the desktop
- Firefox Browser
- R-click on the file and select Save Link As
- Browse to the Desktop and save the file
- What this file does
- This file creates a network connection to the main Portfolio 2006 directory and opens a file browser (explorer) window to that directory.
- The network connection is mapped as Drive P: on your computer
- This will look like Summer_2006 on NAUShares.......
- This network connection will be stored in your profile and re-connected the next time you log onto a computer in the labs
- Special notes
- The saving of the portfolio_2006.bat to the desktop does not work correctly in the HRM computer lab
- Please save the file to your Z: drive.
- When you go to save the file follow these steps
- Browse to My Computer
- Then to username (xyz123) on Dana Samba
