Chapter 4:
Postsecondary Environmental Education in Arizona

Environmental education after high school can begin at a two-year or a four-year institution. In Arizona your options for a two-year post-secondary school include all of the state community colleges and Diné College. A list of these schools and links to their World Wide Web homepages is included in this chapter. In Arizona, four colleges offer Bachelor’s degree programs in environmental studies: Prescott College, Northern Arizona University, Arizona State University and the University of Arizona. Graduate environmental degrees are offered only by the three universities. Outside of Arizona, the doors of Haskell Indian Nation University are open to students without tuition, room or boarding cost.
