Chapter 4, Section 1:
Arizona's Community Colleges

Arizona’s community colleges, are among the finest, and many of the system's different schools offer environmental programs. Among Arizona's community colleges, Pima Community College at Tucson houses the Arizona State Environmental Technology Training Center (ASETTC), an official U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region IX technical training center. The ASETTC is also a state-approved certifying agency for technical competency in managing water treatment facilities. Some of Arizona's other community colleges also offer 2-year technical programs for those seeking certification to operate water treatment or sewage plants and the operation of other facilities. They all offer 2-year Associate degrees that can prepare you to complete a Bachelor's degree elsewhere.
