Summer Scholars 2011 Curriculum & Activities:

Culturally Situated Community Sensing - A Project by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
The curriculum focuses on using environmental sensing and mapping to ask questions about what it means to survey the environment. The curriculum includes activities that use sensor technology and observations of the environment. Students will learn how sensors work, how maps are constructed, and how data is collected.
