Sacaton Middle School

Sacaton, AZ

Introduction:.
Our school went to NAU and we studied Forest Fires in the Grand Canyon and we want to make a recommendation to control forest fires.

Recommendations:
To decrease the number of tourists and campers that go in to the Grand Canyon, and to close the Canyon when they reach the number of people it takes to get the haze to go away.  Some fires in the Grand Canyon are caused buy campers who don't put them out so if there are no campers there are no fires . The tourist cause the pollution by their transportation if there are no tourists there is no haze.

Positive Consequences:
The pollution will go down and the haze will go away.

Negative Consequences:
The Grand Canyon will not have any money left to buy the equipment that they might need to help clear the haze.
