| The Grand Canyon |
Hello. We are part of the Summer Scholars Program. We have been researching information about the pollution in the Grand Canyon. We have been on and off the campus to find information. We took several field trips to different places and they were very exicting and the people their gave us very useful information. Such as why the trees are not as healthy as they were in the past and how the Power Plants reduce their pollution in the air. This was mostly what we did with off campus researching. Back on campus, we listened to lectures, watched videos, and found out some important information in the library. We also had a different program on campus called P.B.L (Problem Based Learning). We had different instructors who guided us in our learning about the Grand Canyon haze and pollution problem. They as well were very helpful and friendly in giving us information. This is what we mostly did this week while we stayed here at N.A.U.
