Monument Valley and Navajo Mountain, Utah

This photo is taken of the haze in Grand Canyon.
Hello,
I go to school at Monument Valley High School. My partner is from Navajo Mountain. We are both students at Summer Scholars here at NAU. We were investigating the haze in Grand Canyon and how to get rid of air pollution.
How we researched this problem is, we went to Cholla Power Plant, Grand Canyon, and Fort Valley Experimental Forest and got some information. These people helped us get these information: Louie Hena, Carl Bowman, tour guides, and Dr. Thom Alcoze.  We have both decided on a recommendation which is:
Recommendation:
To get rid of the power plants, pollution, gas, and chemicals causing the haze.

Positive Consequences:
1. The air would be much clear.
2. More tourist wanting to go to Grand Canyon.

Negative Consequences:
1. There would be more air pollution.
2. There would be more health problems.

This is a pictrue of Grand Canyon during a clear winter day.
