Navajo Mountain & Monument Valley
Tonelea, AZ & Oljato, UT

This is a picture of the Grand Canyon with air pollution(Haze).
Introduction:

We are trying to solve the haze problem in Grand Canyon, AZ. We had questions to solve and answers waiting. So we took field trips to places such as: The Cholla Power Plant, the Fort Valley Experimental Forest, and the  Grand Canyon.
We did reserch in the NAU library and went on the internet. We asked the guest speaker (Louie Hena who is the Environmental Director-Picuris Pueblo) questions about the Power Plant and how they polluted the air to cause the Grand Canyon haze.

Recommendation:
Stop burning trash, because it causes Air Pollution.

Positive Consequences:
1. There is less pollution.
2. Doesn't give the people who have breathing problems a hard time to breath.
3. Less health problems (asthma, lung cancer, heart disease, etc.).

Negative Consequences:
1. Rodent problems (rabies, plage,etc)
2. Earth Pollution, smells bad.
3. More landfills.

This is a picture of the Cholla Power Plant. They have scubbers in the Power Plant's smoke stack.
