Haze in the Grand Canyon, like haze in any U.S city originates from both stationary and non-stationary sources.  According to the final report of the Grand Canyon visibility.  Transport commission, the political body charged with looking into the issue

My Recommendations are that we should clean the Power Plants and add more scrubbers so that we can have less pollution in the Grand Canyon.  Also we should use less energy so that we don’t have to deal with a lot of pollution. The Mohave Power Plant makes more pollution because they do not have scrubbers. Most air pollution comes from the wind from L.A. or Phoenix. I learned that Cholla Power Plant does not really pollute the air.

Positive consequences:
1.  Less Pollutions.
2.  Less Blackouts.

Negative consequences:
1.Black Mesa’s going to go broke by selling less coal.
2.Loss of jobs and less electricity.
3.Can't take shower.
