The following is a suggested plan for teaching the unit (Can Leetso and Hozhó Coexist?) to facilitate student understanding of the complex issues surrounding living in harmony in a nuclear age, considering the consequences of nuclear resource extraction.

• Is Leetso alive or dead in our community?
• Is nuclear energy necessary in the modern world?
• Is all radiation bad?
• Is reclamation really possible?
• What does it mean to live in harmony (hozhó)?
  Should all mining be stopped?
  Is it possible to live in harmony with nature and still mine resources from the earth?
