UREO Regional Workshop 2001
For Secondary Educators (7th Grade to 12th Grade)

The goal of UREO is to increase awareness of uranium and radiation health and environmental issues for students (grades 7-12) and community members living in communities that are impacted by uranium mining activities on the Navajo Nation. Using problem-based learning model, teachers will learn how to assist their students in investigating and understanding an important community environmental issue.
